Now Offering Adult ADHD Evaluations!
Wondering if ADHD explains what you've been experiencing: the scattered focus, the missed deadlines, the sense that you're working twice as hard for half the results? An ADHD evaluation can give you clarity, language, and a path forward. I offer flat-rate, private-pay ADHD evaluations in person in Ballwin, MO, and via telehealth across 43 states through PSYPACT.
Getting an ADHD evaluation shouldn't mean a six-month wait list or a $3,000 bill. This evaluation is built to be thorough enough to trust and efficient enough to get quick results: combining a clinical interview with standardized, validated measures to reach a clear diagnostic picture, not just a checklist.
I take differential diagnosis seriously. Anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, and trauma can all look like ADHD on the surface. Part of the value of working with a licensed psychologist is making sure you get the right answer, not just an answer. While this evaluation is targeted specifically at ADHD diagnosis, I provide measures to rule-out other conditions commonly mistaken for ADHD, as well as personalized recommendations for moving forward with treatment, regardless of outcome.
Diagnostic Interview: A 60-90 minute interview using DSM-5-TR criteria to identify presenting symptoms of ADHD and other relevant history.
Standardized Self-Report Measures: Validated rating scales for ADHD and other commonly occuring presentations (Anxiety, OCD, etc.).
Written Report: A clear, usable summary, including diagnostic impressions and personalized treatment recommendations.
Feedback Session: A dedicated appointment to walk through results together and answer questions
This is a focused, symptom-based ADHD evaluation, NOT a comprehensive psychological evaluation. The self-report measures used are chosen to assess ADHD symptoms and to screen for common look-alikes and co-occurring concerns (such as anxiety, depression, or sleep difficulties), so it's possible that screening will point toward another condition needing further evaluation or treatment alongside, or instead of, ADHD. That kind of rule-out information is a normal and useful part of this process.
What it does NOT include: standardized IQ or achievement testing, personality assessment, or projective measures. It isn't designed to diagnose learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, personality disorders, or cognitive decline. If your presentation suggests one of these broader questions is at play, I'll tell you honestly during the process and point you toward the right next step, whether that's a referral for comprehensive testing or another specialist, rather than stretching this evaluation beyond what it's built to answer.
